Studentenwerk Frankfurt (Main) offers comprehensive advice and support on studying. Visit our ServiceCenter for details on how to finance your studies or for specific information on student loans/grants (“BAfög”). In the event of social problems we will be pleased to refer you to a specialist contact.
The Service Center also offers support on studying with children as well as information for international students.
The student job exchange at the Service Center acts as a recruitment agency for all kinds of temporary employment for students.
Studentenwerk Frankfurt also offers free legal counselling to students. Advocates registered with the Frankfurt (Main) regional court (“Landgericht”) give advice on all legal questions.
Acting as an agent for the student's union executive committee ("AstA"), Studentenwerk Frankfurt also manages the student travelcard hardship fund of Goethe University. An application for a refund of the fee for the student travelcard ("Semesterticket") in the event of special circumstances may be submitted.
